As an ACT trainer and coach, I am dedicated to supporting people in their professional and personal growth.
As a trainer, I educate professionals in applying Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) within their own (clinical) practice. My approach is practical, engaged, and firmly grounded in the realities of the field. I support professionals not only in understanding ACT, but in truly embodying it in their work with clients.
As an ACT coach, I deliver trainings such as ACT@Work and guide healthcare professionals, coaches, and other professionals through short-term coaching trajectories. Many of them are deeply committed to caring for others, yet risk losing themselves in the process. I help them strengthen their resilience, care for themselves more effectively, and reconnect with their values, desires, and needs. From a place of calm, clarity, and psychological flexibility, they can re-engage with their work and lives with renewed meaning and energy.

With over ten years of experience as a coach, I combine my background as a psychiatrist with deep expertise in work and health. I am affiliated with GGZ Momentum and teach at ACT in Actie.
My academic training began in the Netherlands with a degree in Medicine at VU Amsterdam, followed by a degree in Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam. This interdisciplinary background enables me to approach mental health from both medical and organizational perspectives.
Previously, I worked as a physician within two occupational health services and served as a project lead in the development of the care standard “Work as Medicine.” My doctoral research builds on this work and focuses on the role of work as an integral part of recovery from mental health challenges.
If you would like to learn more about my approach, trainings, or how I can support you or your team, please feel free to get in touch. I am happy to think along with you. Together, we work towards greater resilience, job satisfaction, and meaning—in both work and life.
